Objective:

  • To create a short film that illustrates three different stories that deal with people living with depression to raise awareness. The struggle of depression is very real that has it effect on everyday life for those who live with it. Depression can come into a person’s life at any moment creating long days of torture, struggle, and loss of hope. Our goal as a group is to tell each character story while incorporating our own experiences with depression into the film.

  • To create a behind the scenes documentary on the short film showcasing how a short film is made and the hard work that it takes as a group to get it done.

  • To provide content on our film’s website giving information as to how depression may occur, the side effects that happen with depression, the use of prescribed medicine to help combat depression, and ways others can seek help on dealing with their depression. While most deal with throughout their lives and live full lives Depression can also lead others to commit suicide and our website would provide the National Suicide Help Line to help those who need it.

Synapse: Therapist helps two depressed patients while dealing with his own inner demons.
